Parking

Free parking at the property

You can park in the driveway. You can park under the house, which comfortably fits 2 cars but can squeeze in up to 4. There are 2 additional parking spots in the lot — one to the north and one to the south, closer to the ice cream shops. Please avoid parking near the ice cream shops' spots.

House Rules

No parties or events

Strictly no parties, gatherings, or events of any kind.

No smoking

Absolutely no smoking inside the property.

Occupancy limit

Overnight guests must not exceed the booking limit. Infants do not count toward occupancy.

No food/drinks in bedrooms

Please enjoy food and beverages in the kitchen, dining, and living areas only.

No Pet

We do not allow pets of any kind.

Quiet Hour

Inside the house: No.
Outside of the house (pool, hot tub, playground): Yes, from 9PM to 9AM.
Please respect the neighbor, keep noise level low outside at all time. Music is OK, just keep it low.

Damage responsibility

Guests are responsible for any damages during their stay.

Good to Know

Bathroom Configuration: Upstairs: 1 full bath in the master bedroom and 1 full bath in the hallway. Downstairs: Half bath.
Access Method: The access door is located in the front of the house and has a keyless lock. Enter the provided code and hit check mark to open.
Back up access: Lock box that has key for the main entrance, use it when the keyless lock doesn't work: Code 2118.
Thermostat: Please keep the AC at 72°F or above and heat at 72°F or below. If you set it cooler or warmer, that's fine—just know the system may struggle to keep up.

Trash Days

Pickup Schedule: Trash Day: Tue. Mon Night → Move cans to curb. Recycling every other Tue → Follow neighbors 👍

Common questions about Aurora Retreat

Movie Room Sound System

Movie room—no sound?
The soundbar connects to the projector via Bluetooth. If there’s still no sound after increasing the volume, the Bluetooth may have disconnected. Here are the instructions to reconnect the Bluetooth connection:

Step 1: On the JBL Soundbar
- Turn ON
- Hold Bluetooth button for 3 seconds until it shows "Bluetooth Pairing" on the LED

Step 2: On the Projector
- Go to Settings → Bluetooth
- Select “Theater Speaker” → Pair

✅ Sound will play through the JBL soundbar

Pool FAQs

Saltwater pool, approximately 15,000 gallons. About 36 feet long and 14 feet wide, 3 feet deep at the shallow end and 7 feet at the deep end.

The pool is not heated at the moment. You’re welcome to use the pool anytime during your stay. Please keep noise levels respectful, especially at night.

There is no lifeguard on duty. Swim at your own risk, and children must be supervised at all times. No glass is allowed around the pool area.

Because the home is surrounded by many trees, there may be times (especially during certain seasons or weather conditions) when debris like leaves, pollen, or seeds fall into the pool.

The pool is professionally cleaned before your arrival and should be in great condition at check-in. However, nature can move quickly, so it’s normal to see some light debris during your stay.

A pool net is available if you’d like to quickly skim the surface. There's also a blower in the storage shed (code 611), you can take it and use it.

Pool toys may be available depending on previous guests. Please return them after use.

Pool is open from Mid Apr to Mid Oct.

Hot Tub FAQs

Pre-heated: Yes! The hot tub is already heated on arrival. Just lift the cover and enjoy!
Temperature: Recommended range: 95–104°F. Feel free to adjust to your comfort.
Water Quality: Professionally treated with oxidizer and bromine before every stay.
Rules: No glass containers or food in the hot tub. Children must be supervised at all times.
After Use: Jets off, power on, 95°F, cover closed. Do not turn off completely. Dry off before entering the house

Bedding

Leave everything on the bed, messy is good :)

Towels

Start the washer. If time permits, starting the dryer is a huge help

Trash & Dishes

Put all trash in bins. If checkout is Sun–Tue, roll bins to curb. Start the dishwasher.

Lights & AC

Turn off all lights and set AC back to Heat 60°F / AC 80°F.

Doors & Windows

Ensure all are closed and locked

Hot Tub

Set 95F, Leave running, close cover, remove items, keep clean.

Pool

Leave running, remove items, return things, keep clean.
